WEBINAR: NSW Workers Compensation Legislative Reform- Overview and Operational Impacts

ARPA NSW, in partnership with EML, is launching a free three-part professional development series on the NSW workers compensation psychological injury reforms and what they mean in practice for workplace rehabilitation providers.

The first session gives a high-level overview of the legislative reform and its operational impacts, covering:

  • Primary Psychological Changes – New definitions, tests, eligibility process and dispute pathways
  • Medical and treatment approval test (Reasonable & Necessary – From 1 October
  • Employer excess
  • WPI Changes – WPI thresholds and single permanent impairment assessment

PRESENTED BY
The session will be presented by Salvatore Failla , Head of Support Services, and Zac Doyle , Injury Manager, both from EML. They will discuss the changes and how they affect day-to-day rehabilitation practice.
