Strategic Plan 2026-2030

ARPA Strategy 2026-2030

Strengthening National Leadership and Sector Capability

Australia's workplace rehabilitation sector is changing. Complexity is increasing, expectations for measurable outcomes are rising, and members are looking for stronger, more coordinated national leadership. How ARPA responds to these shifts will shape the sector's direction and our role within it.

The ARPA Strategy 2026-2030 sets our direction for that response. Informed by national engagement with member CEOs, State Councils and sector leaders, it is an evidence-informed plan to strengthen national leadership, build sector capability and deliver clear, visible value to members, while advancing outcomes across the broader rehabilitation system.

Through this period of change, our purpose holds steady. ARPA is the national voice of workplace rehabilitation providers. We champion the profession and the people it serves: the Australians rebuilding function, confidence and a meaningful working life after injury or illness.

Our vision is to lead and shape Australia's workplace rehabilitation system, improving return to work outcomes and workforce participation nationally.

What does the future look like for ARPA?

Our strategy is built on six pillars. Together they describe the ARPA we are building towards by 2030:
