In this session, clinical psychologist and Army Veteran Nadia Teong will provide rehabilitation professionals with practical insights into working with veterans. She will explore the impact of service on mental health, discuss barriers to accessing care, and outline the roles rehabilitation providers can play in facilitating recovery and reintegration. Attendees will gain culturally informed strategies, learn how to better support transitions to civilian life, and leave with a toolkit of veteran-specific resources and referral options.
