SafeWork NSW has advised the following and requested assistance to spread the 'Irreplaceable' message - You’re important at work. At home you’re irreplaceable.
On 1 July 2025, SafeWork NSW became an independent agency. This move enables us to be a stronger, more robust regulator and further improve workplace health and safety in NSW. To coincide with our new status, we are launching the ‘Irreplaceable’ campaign.
The campaign highlights the importance of staying safe at work and at the same time raises awareness of the impact workplace injuries can have on families, communities and businesses. It reinforces that while everyone is important at work, they are irreplaceable at home, whether they are a parent, son or daughter, sibling, partner, friend or workmate. The ‘Irreplaceable’ message, You’re important at work. At home you’re irreplaceable. is being shared across television, radio and online, and in several languages.
Help us by sharing this important message with your workers, members and networks and let them know you support safe and healthy workplaces. Visit the SafeWork NSW website to find the ‘Irreplaceable’ campaign video and sharable resources including posters, social media tiles and suggested web/newsletter copy to use in your communications. We also encourage you to watch the video with your colleagues and start a discussion about how to improve safety at your workplace.
All workers have a right to return home safe at the end of their day. We hope you will support this new campaign and continue to work with us to improve work health and safety in NSW.
