ARPA QLD is pleased to invite members* and industry stakeholders to this webinar presented by Sam Sellwood. Sam will discuss how psychosocial risk assessment can (and should) look different at different levels of large organisations, and provide some practical tools to demystify psychosocial risk management for managers and team leaders.
About the presenter
Sam is a registered psychologist and founder of Head Strong Workplaces, with extensive experience working with individuals and workplaces to improve mental health and wellbeing. More recently, Sam has focused on supporting workplaces to better manage psychosocial risks and create mentally healthy workplaces.
In addition to working across industry as a consultant, Sam has previously worked with the Queensland Police Service supporting employee wellbeing and psychosocial risk management, and as a Chief Advisor in the Psychological Health Unit with Queensland’s work health and safety regulator. This experience has given Sam an in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements related to psychosocial risk management, particularly as applied in large and complex organisations.
