Shifting Behaviour for Better Outcomes - a three-part webinar series

Online registrations for the three-part series have temporarily closed to enable the running of Webinar 1. Please direct any enquiries to executive@arpa.org.au.

In the Workplace Rehabilitation sector, fostering positive behaviour change is key to success. Amongst the challenges of navigating destructive behaviour patterns, this webinar series, presented by Mike Symonds, offers practical guidance for change. How can momentum be shifted empowering individuals to climb to new heights?

Wednesday 28 August - Webinar 1: Understanding Behaviour

This first session sets the foundations for change, exploring what behaviour is, how it works and why people behave the way they do. Concepts such as ‘influence versus control’, setting realistic expectations for change and the role our behaviour has in influencing others will be discussed.

Wednesday 11 September - Webinar 2: Principles of Behaviour Change

Once attendees have a clear understanding of how behaviour works, the focus will change to shifting behaviour. In this session the discussion will concentrate on topics such as motivators for change, building desire, obstacles to change and the three areas that need to be addressed for long-lasting change.

Wednesday 2 October - Webinar 3: Implementing Behaviour Change

The third webinar is where the 'rubber hits the road'. Sharing a handful of simple, yet highly effective tools and approaches, presenter Mike Symonds will demonstrate how you can use these to encourage behaviour change in your team and clients. Discover a powerful, yet simple approach to improving and building upon new behaviours for better performance.

To ensure maximum value, it is recommended that all webinars are attended in order, as each lays the foundation for the next.
